Salsa Verde La Criolla


  • 6 Tomatillos (Green Tomatoes)
  • 3 Serrano peppers
  • 1 tbsp. La Criolla Adobo All-purpose Seasoning
  • ¼ cup of Cilantro chopped
  • ¼ cup chopped onion

In a saucepan, place the tomatillos and serrano peppers with 2 cups of water (or enough to cover in pan) and bring water to a boil (about 10 mins). Remove from heat and strain keeping about ¼ – ½ cup of reserve water. Place the tomatillos and serrano peppers in a mixer, add La Criolla Adobo Seasoning and blend for a few seconds and add water to desired thickness. Transfer to a bowl, stir in the onions and cilantro. Ready to serve!
